International Women’s Day (IWD) is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a global movement dedicated to gender equality, empowerment, and celebrating the achievements of women. This year, Hounslow Council invites us and you to be part of an inspiring and action-driven event on 7th March 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Hounslow House.

Attending this event is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible progress that women have made across all sectors, from business and politics to education and social justice. It’s a chance to reflect on the challenges that remain and take meaningful action toward achieving gender equality. By coming together as a community, we can recognize the achievements of women while discussing the strategies needed to push forward.
One of the most powerful aspects of International Women’s Day is the sense of unity it creates. This event will bring together a diverse group of individuals, including activists, professionals, and community leaders, all committed to making a difference. Whether you’re looking to expand your network, learn from others, or simply be inspired, this is a space where meaningful connections can be made.
There will be discussions, resources, and activities designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to contribute to gender equality in their own communities and workplaces. Whether it’s advocating for policy changes, supporting women-led initiatives, or fostering inclusivity in everyday life, every action counts.
Hearing real stories from women who have overcome barriers and broken stereotypes is another compelling reason to attend. These stories serve as a reminder of the strength and resilience that women demonstrate every day. They can also inspire others to step up, take action, and challenge the status quo.
Mark your calendars for 7 March 2025 and join us at Hounslow House to celebrate International Women’s Day.Together, we can accelerate progress and work towards a future where every woman and girl can reach their full potential. Spread the word, bring a friend, and be part of this important movement!
