In today’s fast-paced world, rest often takes a backseat to our endless to-do lists, responsibilities, and digital distractions. But what if we told you that rest is not a luxury—it’s a necessity?
At SHEWISE, we are committed to empowering women to take care of themselves in every aspect of life. That’s why we are hosting a Therapeutic Workshop: Rest – Taking Care of Self on 18th March 2025 led by Sri Vidya Nennu (VISH4U), as part of our weekly Coffee Mornings.

Why Rest Matters
Many of us struggle to switch off, feeling overwhelmed by the constant demands of modern life. Whether it’s work, family, or social obligations, we often forget to pause and prioritise our own well-being. This workshop will delve into the importance of rest, exploring how we can incorporate it into our daily routines for better mental, emotional, and physical health. Rest is more than just sleep—it’s about restoring energy, reducing stress, and creating balance in life.

The Different Types of Rest – Understanding the various forms of rest beyond just sleep, including mental, emotional, and creative rest.
