As part of Sexual Violence and Abuse Awareness Week 2025, Shewise was honored to participate in an important event at Hounslow House alongside Forward UK, Women and Girls Network, Hounslow Council’s domestic abuse team, and other key stakeholders.
This gathering provided a vital space for meaningful conversations about tackling sexual violence, supporting survivors, and strengthening community resources.
We were privileged to contribute our insights and expertise, engaging with the public and professionals to address the challenges faced by women affected by abuse.
We also welcomed the opportunity to speak with Cllr Samia Chaudhary, Cabinet Member for Education, Children, Skills and Employment, and other officials about the importance of holistic, culturally sensitive support for survivors.
At SHEWISE, we remain committed to empowering women and ensuring their voices are heard. Collaborative efforts like these are essential in creating lasting change, and we are proud to stand alongside our partners in this collective mission.
